The Company Behind the Trucks

Dirty Works Services is an owner-operated, multi-trade commercial field service company. This page is for the person deciding whether to hand us a building, a franchise group, or thirty sites: who we are, what we run, what we're certified for, and exactly how a work order flows through our shop.

Owner-Operated

Built in Poplarville Since 2007

We started with the work nobody wanted — the greasy, hot, awkward jobs behind commercial kitchens — and built a company around a simple idea: a facility shouldn't need four vendors and four invoices to stay running. Today we self-perform commercial kitchen equipment repair, refrigeration and ice machines, HVAC, electrical and lighting, land and site work, and named-storm response across South Mississippi and the Louisiana Northshore.

Still owner-operated. The person who answers your text has grease under his fingernails, and the owner still runs calls. That's not a limitation — it's why the quality doesn't drift.

  • Founded 2007 · Poplarville, MS · licensed and insured
  • Multi-trade, self-performed — we don't broker your work to subs
  • Serving 50+ commercial and institutional locations on recurring accounts
  • Labor guaranteed — if a repair doesn't hold, we make it right

The Fleet & Equipment

Owning the iron changes response time. When a rooftop unit needs setting or a parking lot pole needs a fixture, we're not waiting on a rental counter — the equipment is in our yard.

  • Four service trucks running daily routes, Hattiesburg to the Coast to the Northshore
  • Altec bucket trucks — rooftop, lighting, and signage access on our schedule
  • Excavator, skid steer, and land-clearing attachments — owned, not rented
  • FLIR thermal imaging, refrigerant recovery, and diagnostic instrumentation on the trucks
  • Storm-response trailers and equipment staged for named-storm season

Every truck carries common parts stock — capacitors, contactors, belts, filters, common-size 2" pleated filter stock — so a lot of first visits are also last visits.

Real Territory

Poplarville home base — the Pine Belt, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and the Louisiana Northshore. One vendor, one footprint, no coverage gaps.

For FM networks and multi-site operators: the full pitch lives on our Franchise & Facility Management page — NTE discipline, emergency tiers, and how we keep network relationships for years.

How It Actually Works

A Work Order, Start to Finish

1. You call or text — texting is usually fastest

601-337-1069 reaches a person, not a phone tree. Text a photo of the unit's nameplate and one line about what it's doing — that photo lets us check specs and parts before we roll, which is why a lot of first visits end with the fix on the truck.

2. You get a real ETA, not a guess

Down-equipment calls get priority — same-day when the schedule allows. When it doesn't, we tell you the truth about when we can be there. Account and PM customers go to the front of the line.

3. Diagnose first, then a straight quote

We find the actual failure and quote the fix before doing the work. NTE limits are treated as hard lines — if the repair exceeds one, you get a call with findings and a number before anything else happens. We don't work on commission.

4. The work, documented

Photos before and after, data plate captured, condition notes on the work order. If we spot something else failing while we're in there, it goes in the notes as a heads-up — not a surprise line item.

5. Clean close-out

Invoice with the story on it — complaint, cause, correction — so whoever pays the bill understands what they paid for. PO-based billing for institutions, portal close-out for FM networks, and a labor guarantee behind all of it: if the repair doesn't hold, we come back and make it right.
